How do I complete the survey?

Students will receive an email to their my.yorku.ca (undergraduate students) or their yorku.ca (graduate students) accounts from the Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey, which contains a personalized link to access the survey and all the necessary information to get started.

The CCWS only takes 15 to 20 minutes to complete.

How will my feedback be used?

York University is committed to using the CCWS results in ways that contribute to enhancing well-being supports and services on our campuses that are centred around promoting a culture of wellness. The survey will help York better understand the health needs of students.

Previous well-being survey results acquired from the CCWS have led to the implementation of strategic changes on campus, like:

  • The development of York’s Well-being Strategy;
  • Creation of the Student Food Insecurity Roundtable and promotion of Food Access supports and resources;
  • Enhanced wellness programming and resource availability geared towards well-being needs, including the wellness space at Student Counselling, Health & Well-being, increased meditation workshops and the open fridge program;
  • Boosting the availability of skills-based suicide prevention training programs such as Livingworks Start, at no cost to York community members, and;
  • The expansion of access to Narcan across all campuses.
